Kenya is well renowned for its small-scale producers of coffee with about 70% of its coffee production being produced by them. Some say Kenya coffee is the best there is and the country has a rich legacy of producing incredible coffees.
This coffee comes from the high plateaus around Mt. Kenya and is grown at a mile high in elevation. It is a blend of green beans from many small producers in the region. Like many other origins, all coffees in Kenya come with a grade, and AA is the highest grade based on the screen size and density of the bean. The “Plus” ensures there are minimal defects within the coffee and this coffee is sure to impress as it is one of the highest cupping coffees we offer.
